Oxfam
Climate change costs lives.
Let’s sort it Here & Now.
First step – shouting until we’re blue in the face.
At this year’s Isle of Wight Festival, Oxfam will be asking you to shout until you’re blue in the face, to make sure world leaders sign up to a fair and safe deal at December’s UN climate conference. Thankfully, you don’t actually need to shout yourself hoarse, because our artful activists will be armed with blue facepaint. What you do need to do is get a paintjob and then text a photo of yourself to Gordon Brown. Tens of thousands of blue faces should get his attention. And as you’ll be looking so beautiful, why not head over to the Oxfam Festival shop, where we’ll be waiting to shower you with tips on customising everything from hats to wedding dresses (we sell the lot). It’s the place to go for DIY fashion onsite. You’ll find us in the Campsite, waiting to offer you a Fair Trade cuppa – and compliment you on your striking blue face.
