If you travel to the Festival on a bus you will arrive at the Campsite where you can gain entry through the Campsite into Strawberry Fields, Penny Lane and the Arena. You will walk back the same way if you are catching a bus at the end of the Festival.
Your wristband is needed to gain access all weekend so take care of it, replacements will not be issued.
The Hampshire Constabulary will be conducting a structured drug disruption operation again at this year's event. They will utilise passive drugs detection dogs during the course of the weekend covering points of entry to the site. Amnesty bins will be provided in advance of these check points to give people the opportunity to surrender illegal substances.
If you have pre-booked your place on the viewing platform and in the platform access car park please go to Production Entrance A6 located opposite Seaclose Stores on Fairlee Road. From there you will be directed to the parking area and then towards the viewing platform.
If you do not require parking please arrange to be dropped off at the same entrance and from there follow directions to the viewing platform.
Please do not bring any food or drink into the Arena, Strawberry Fields and Penny Lane with the exception of soft drinks in plastic bottles, with unbroken seals (up to 500ml per person). Exceptions can be made for diabetics or those with specific dietary requirements.
You have to be 18 years old to purchase and drink alcohol, please remember to being proof of age as you may be asked at the bar.
There are bars and stalls as well as plenty of toilets- so boys, please don't use the fences! You will find Welfare marquees in the Campsite and the Arena. Welfare will provide you with information on the site as well as travel (ferries, buses). The following services are also provided; counselling, message board, lost property, lost persons, health promotion (general & sexual). There are several ATM's located behind the horseshoe of concessions as you walk through the Arboretum from the Arena into Strawberry Fields. There are standpipes were you can get free water throughout the site, please see the map.
Vodafone customers can take time out to recharge their mobile phones at the Vodafone recharge truck, located in Penny Lane throughout the weekend. If you're low on battery Vodafone will recharge your phone in a safe & secure locker. Just come back to collect it when you're fully charged to make sure that you can be in contact with your friends. There are also charging facilities available for non-Vodafone customers but you will need to stay with your phone whilst it charges.
In the Campsite LockerHouse provide safe and secure lockers that are available to hire with charging facilities included or, if you don't require a locker, just use the LockerHouse phone charging suite.
You will find Welfare Marquees in the Campsite and in the Arena. Welfare will provide you with information on the site as well as travel. The following services are also provided: counselling, message board, lost property, lost persons, health promotion (general & sexual).
Please do not crowd surf - you risk being evicted from the Festival. Have a look around and work out where your nearest emergency exit point is. Always follow the instructions and warnings of security personnel. If you feel distressed please ask to be taken or make your way to the Welfare tent, try not to panic. If you feel unwell, please ask to be taken to the medical tent.
