The Bluebyrds
Appeared at the Isle of Wight Festival in 2010
With inspiration from artists such as Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Cream, Santana and Joe Bonamassa, The Bluebyrds material carries a depth of character beyond their years, making a name for themselves on the local pub circuit by playing electrifyingly tight sets.
Commenting on their own material the band say “We love the music from the sixties & seventies blues scene, it’s different and we’re mixing it up a bit, we want to bring the blues genre back into the light and play to the kids that don’t really know it as well as the mature audiences that appreciate us on the pub circuit”.
After playing the Kashmir tent at the Isle of Wight Festival 2009 the band are stoked to be given a slot on the main stage 2010 after winning battle of the bands at Medina Theatre.
The Bluebyrds are: Keir Hicks (Guitar / Vocals), Chris Williams: (Guitar / Backing Vocals), Max Harrison (Drums) and Devon Badman (Bass)
