Papa Do Plenty

Appeared at the Isle of Wight Festival in 2009

Fledging  funk starlets Papa Do Plenty hone their musical melting pot of jazz, funk and rock at the Isle of Wight’s own hit factory Platform One College of Music. Since they exploded onto the island’s compact, but eclectic youth scene late last year the septet has built up passionate local support, performing with both local and mainland groups, culminating as champions of this years Wight Noize festival auditions held in May. 

In an industry currently awash with indie and pop, Papa Do Plenty  are ready to deliver a fresh take to the UK’s unsigned collective. Expect summer anthems, brass stabs, clipped chords and high dose of muso invention – not bad for seven lads from a small island I’m sure you’ll agree!
