Hogg
Appeared at the Isle of Wight Festival in 2008
John Hogg formed the critically acclaimed band Moke in 1998. After recording two albums ('Superdrag' / 'Moke' in the US & ' Carnival'), a string of US tours supporting The Black Crowes, The Goo Goo Dolls, Tonic, King's X and reaching number 17 in The Billboard Rock Chart with the single 'My Degeneration' Moke disbanded. Hogg received a phone call from Rich Robinson of The Black Crowes and went on to become lead singer of his new band 'Hookah Brown', touring and writing with Rich during the recent Black Crowes hiatus.
In the Autumn of 2006, Hogg joined forces with bassist Jesse Wood, (son of Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood, The Ronnie Wood Band, Jamiroquai) and drummer Martin Wright (The Ronnie Wood Band, Mick Jagger, Slash and Natalie Imbruglia) and HOGG was born. They are currently taking legendary London clubs by storm, ripping it up with their own unique blend of hard rocking, in your face, psychedelic blues.
