David Stewart

Appeared at the Isle of Wight Festival in 2008

Every now and again a new talent emerges that makes the question of ‘will they make it’ purely academic. David Stewart is one such talent.

David who lives in London and recently turned 18 is hell bent on making his mark as a singer, songwriter and performer and is currently ensconced in writing material and demoing songs for his first commercial release due in 2008.

David’s initial song demos have already attracted the attention of other successful song writers including Jamie Norton and Mark Owen from the Take That band and John Ingham from George Michaels band. Who all want to put there names and reputations behind this new young talent… a strong indication that something is cooking?

His voice has a timeless quality that is usually associated with such artists as Sting or George Michael and having this quality as a benchmark doesn’t faze David one bit. He is looking forward to finishing the writing and with a fistful of new songs wants to play these new songs live across the UK, into Europe and eventually capturing the USA and Australasia.

Producer/engineer Charlie Russell, who learnt his skills alongside such luminaries as Trevor Horn, Mike Peden etc. also wants to join the ever expanding team ensuring the recorded quality of David’s material is new, fresh and contemporary.

David has a myspace page www.myspace.com/davidstewartofficial where you can hear new songs and news updates. There will be a dedicated web site available soon - watch this space.
